After practicing law in California for a number of years, I felt that the luster and appeal of the legal profession in California had begun to tarnish. It was no longer a noble profession and seemed to be moving in the direction of becoming merely another business. Consequently, a move was needed to revitalize the enthusiasm necessary to enjoy life. Relocating to Boston and passing the Massachusetts Bar Exam in 1997 presented an opportunity to move in a different direction. With more flexibility and an ability to be creative in a way that the law did not provide, real estate seemed to provide an answer.
